Seattle Town Hall on ocean acidification

Posted on EPOCA: 03 Oct 2011

The final installment of Seattle’s Town Hall three-part series “On the Path to Sustainability: Fostering Healthy Built and Natural Environments” focuses on the other CO2 problem: what’s (already) happening to Washington’s waters, and why it matters to all of us. Brian Baird, former United States Representative from Washington’s Third Congressional District, and Richard Feely, Senior Scientist, NOAA Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory explore this important issue.

The event will take place on Tuesday, November 8th 6:30-8:00pm in the Great Hall at Seattle’s Town Hall at 1119 8th Avenue.  Reception before the presentations at 5:30 pm.  Sponsored by the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, Sustainable Path Foundation, and Washington Sea Grant.

Advanced tickets can be purchased online or at (800) 838-3006.
